Raphael the Artist and Architect

These hand drafted graphite drawings of the conceptual ideas of the renowned Renaissance architect and artist, Raphael Sanzio, was the subject of my research when I was a Visiting Artist/Scholar at the American Academy in Rome. His acute powers of observation as an artist and his prescient concepts of architectural composition remain an enduring standard for insightful thinking today.
