Eagle Wing is a 30,000 SF visitor and education center for the Museums of Prophetstown, the purpose of which is to interpret the Native American woodland building tradition and its relation to the primal terminal moraine land forms located on the site. The "wing" element provides public circulation through the ground floor exhibition spaces eventually ascending to the upper level auxiliary services, library and café.
Indigenous stone and sustainable woods are the dominant materials and maximum flexibility of exhibition spaces is the most acute programmatic consideration.
